The house is definitely coming along, and the framing is flying by. I am sure this picture is outdated seeing how it was taken 4 days ago. The more I see our house progress, the more excited I get. It will be nice to finally have a place of our own. Porter loves new feelings, especially on his feet. He was making a funny face when touching the rocks. Amber was telling me today that she thinks her baby is cuter than my baby, but I would have to disagree. I am one of those proud moms that think my baby is the ultimate. We are definitely getting our use out of our baby hiker. We hiked part of Timp on Saturday. Originally we wanted to go on a short mini hike, seeing how Justin was hiking with 20 extra pounds, but we couldn't find the trailhead of the mini hike so we headed up towards Timp. We hiked up for about an hour and then turned around, but the tour guide at the bottom said we went up about 100 flights of stairs. Not too shabby.
Justin and I met through a mutual friend, Greg, and our first "hang out" was at one of Greg's rock concerts in June 2006. We haven't gone to many hard core rock concerts since, not really my scene, but we have had a great time and hopefully this blogging thing will help me document my life a little better than what I have done in the past. We live in Cottonwood Heights Utah and are in the process of building a house in Draper (well I guess we are if our permits ever come through). I work part time as a nurse at a couple of rehab facilities and Justin works at an investment firm. We have our wonderful little man Porter and are just enjoying the new life of parenthood.
Porter Judd,
This is Porter, and he is so great! He was our Christmas present this last year and he is such a good natured baby. Sometimes I get jelous of those babies that sleep through the night at his same age, but my heart brakes when I hear him cry. My Pediatrician told me I will soon change my mind once I am truley sleep deprived. Anyways, He has learned this new trick with his tongue and he is sticking it out constantly. It is really funny to see, and it makes me laugh everytime.

How do I love thee?
How do I love thee? Let mecount the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of everyday's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints, - I love thee with the breath; Smiles, tears, of all my life! - and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
