Happy 3rd birthday Porter

I had never really planned a Birthday party for 3 year olds before.....all I can say is what a lot of work to be over an hour later. Porter loves The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and it is so funny when he sings the songs. It was very fitting to then have a Mickey Mouse Party. We ate hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dogs, and Mickey Mouse cake pops. We played pin the bowtie on Mickey, guess the balloon popping game, a bean bag toss with Mickey's head, Twister, and a dance competition to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song "Hot Dog". All of the kids got prize ribbons for winning their games. We also made Mickey wands and decorated Mickey ears. Porter and his friends opened all of the presents in about 10 seconds. The whole party was gone in a flash, and I was lucky to get the photos I did. Justin left with my brothers and Ashlee took a couple of pictures for me, Thank you Ashlee!

Dickens Christmas Festival

Well, we went to the fairgrounds to see the Dickens Festival, but really to see Santa. I am at the tail end of 8 kids and I don't ever remember believing in Santa, so it was worth it to me to wait the 90 minutes with two cranky kids to see the most believable Santa ever. Oh, and they had real reindeer there also. They are very small with jagged antlers. Very cool!

Happy Birthday Baby Cole

Watching Coleman eat his birthday cupcake was one of the funniest experiences of my life. He had his hand stuffing the cupcake into his mouth so far that the only thing you could see was an elbow. And the cupcake was gone in about 60 seconds. By watching how much he enjoyed this, I would have to say it was the very best moment of his life! Happy Birthday little one, we love you so much!

East Canyon, Wheeler Farm, and The Zoo

I feel like we have been really going this summer! My mom has been here a lot to help out with Sawyer, and it has been so fun to see her on a regular basis. Porter LOVES Sawyer and they both have the same level of fight in them. My brothers told me, "Porter is for sure a righty." I asked them why, and they said, " didn't you see those right hooks he gave Sawyer." I don't encourage fighting, but when two fighters are united there is an instant bond. Porter also loves to skinny dip, but to encourage modesty we have agreed on underware. People are going to think that I never dress my kids, but the truth is I can't get them to stay out of the water, so I give up and just strip them down. We had a mini family reunion, where all the boys got to shave their heads, and went to the Zoo and East Canyon for breakfast. What a fun get together it was!

Coleman 11 months

I love my little Coleman, he is such a joy in my life! His smile is going to be a lady killer someday. He is 11 months and is starting to take a couple of steps. I love when he does take steps he just smiles and thinks to himself...Did you just see that, I took a step, That was pretty awesome that I just took a step... Porter and Coleman get along for the most part really well and entertain each other.
